Nyonya Spicy Chicken



2 Boneless chicken drums stick – cut to small pcs
4 tbsp cooking oil
4 pcs kaffir lime leaves
500 ml water
2 tbsp lime juice
sugar & salt to taste
1/4 Pineapple – cut to pcs

Grounded paste
3 clove garlic
5 pcs candlenuts (buah keras)
1 cm young ginger
2 stalk lemon grass
10 dried chilies, soak to soften

Marinated chicken with 1 tsp turmeric powder, soya source, salt & sugar to taste for 1-2 hours


Heat oil in the wok, saute grounded ingredients until fragrant. Add chicken, stir fry for 5 min, add pineapple & add water & cover to cook for about 10 min. add kaffir leaves & lime juice, add salt & sugar to taste. serve hot with steam rice or tomatoes rice.
